The Baltimore Orioles are still in the American League Wild Card race. However, they will be without Jackson Holliday in their game on Wednesday against the New York Mets. It was initially revealed that Holliday is not the lineup because he's “banged up,” Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reported. The team later announced that Holliday is being placed on the 10-day injured list due to left wrist inflammation. In a corresponding move, infielder Jose Barrero had his contract selected from Triple-A.
