Oregon football took on Lincoln Riley's USC Trojans in Week 4 action, giving Dan Lanning's team a chance to rebound after a gutting loss to Oklahoma State. The tough Week 3 loss led Dante Moore to call a Ducks players-only meeting that led to a better performance and a frightening injury to Moore, whom Dylan Raiola replaced.
Raiola, Nebraska's former starter, has made the most of his opportunity so far with over 200 passing yards. He helped engineer a comeback drive in the second quarter that put the Ducks ahead of their former Pac-10 and currently Big Ten rivals.

Moore was carted off the field after a huge hit to the helmet he took in the second quarter. Raiola drew from his time as a starter with the Cornhuskers to fill in with poise and grace, leading his Ducks on multiple drives to strike back at the hometown Trojans.
Raiola's team held a 27-20 lead over Riley's team with the third quarter winding down in Los Angeles. At that point he had completed 12-of-16 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown while running back Jordan Davision had 11 carries for 61 yards, fresh off a recent injury of his own. Wide receiver Dierre Hill Jr. led Lanning's Ducks with four catches for 105 yards heading into the fourth quarter, showing the depth of Oregon's offense.
With a 391-305 yard edge headed toward the fourth quarter and their seven-point lead, the Ducks showed the college football world the team they are capable of being when they are healthy. Raiola is arguably the best backup quarterback in the country, and he showed it on one of the most exciting weekends of college football in recent memory.
