The No. 4 Ole Miss Rebels got negative news regarding Kewan Lacy's availability for their ranked clash with the No. 21 Florida Gators on Saturday afternoon.

Lacy is off to an incredible start to the 2026 campaign, building off on his breakout season in 2025. He shines as one of the best running backs in the country, helping Ole Miss reach the CFP semifinals that season.

The Rebels look to build on that success despite replacing Lane Kiffin with Pete Golding. They are off to a 3-0 start, looking to make it 4-0 after the Florida game. However, football insider Matt Zenitz reported that they will have to face the Gators without their star rusher.
