Nottingham Forest vs Coventry prediction
Coventry have started the season awfully, with four losses in their opening four games that sees them rock bottom of the table.
It's the place many expected them to be however it doesn't necessarily paint the full picture just yet.
Coventry's opening four games have been against Arsenal, Hull, Man City and Brighton. All of those teams have gone unbeaten and going into this weekend all sit in the top five.
They only lost 1-0 to Man City, but then suffered a huge loss of 5-0 to Brighton made worse by a sending off in the 53rd minute to Taiwo Awoniyi.
Nottingham Forest will be expected to get something from this but they may find it tougher.
Nottingham Forest vs Coventry betting tips
Forest to win
Coventry lost 3-1 to Aston Villa on Wednesday night in the EFL Cup third round, marking the fourth game in succession with a loss in all competitions.
Their only win so far was a 4-2 victory over Plymouth in the second round of that competition.
Remarkably, they only lost to the likes of Man City 1-0, who didn't look great in attack and couldn't conjure up the usual bombardment we see from them against newly promoted sides.
The former Man City man in charge of Coventry, Frank Lampard was well aware of what was needed of his men in defence and they did their best to limit their playmaking.
They've conceded eight in successive games now though, but do face a Nottingham Forest side that sit 11th in the table with just five points.
Forest do look quite solid though, at home too they've only conceded 1 goal so far, and the low scorelines aside from a 2-2 draw away to Liverpool suggest it could be another similar one at 1-0, 2-0, or 2-1.
Shots galore
Morgan Gibbs-White has had a shot on target in each of his last three games, having also had as many as ten shots in his first four appearances in the league.
Forest are getting plenty of shots too, especially in their last game - Dan Ndoye hit five, James McAtee, Neco Williams and Gibbs-White hit two, and Liam Delap hit as many as six.
Forest should be strong in the box on set plays with their aerial threats, including Delap who can get a few shots off from his head.
