Marcus Freeman got to enjoy Notre Dame's dominance over Purdue in the No. 3 Fighting Irish's 49-10 rout against the Boilermakers on Saturday afternoon.

Freeman has been coaching the Fighting Irish since 2021, going through his sixth season at the helm. He shines as one of the best coaches in the country, looking to lead the program back to the College Football Playoffs.

Notre Dame is off to a perfect start with a 4-0 record to show for it. They got their latest win over Purdue, dominating the Big Ten squad in a convincing blowout. Freeman reflected on the victory after the game, pointing out the first half as where the squad played their best football.

“I thought they played really well, especially in the first half. Lights out. And then in the second half, they responded to a little adversity,” Freeman said, per reporter Jack Soble.
