Week 7 kicks off with an intriguing inter-conference matchup between the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears. After that comes a Paris game and a fun slate that should produce some fascinating finishes. So, with further ado, let’s jump right into the ClutchPoints NFL Week 7 picks, predictions, and odds column.
They don’t get much closer than in Week 6. Eleven of the 14 games played on the weekend finished with the losing team down just one possession. That seems to speak to the parity of the NFL in 2026, which is fun for the casual fan looking for thrilling endings, but tough on bettors.
There are some patterns emerging and a growing amount of data to ingest, so if you know where to look, this may be getting a little more predictable as we near the midway point of the 2026 campaign.
As we look at the Week 6 calendar, we welcome back the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and Minnesota Vikings and say goodbye to the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, and Washington Commanders until Week 7.
For the NFL Week 5 slate, we start with a Thursday nighter, get another 9:30 am ET kick, from Paris, France this time, followed up by seven early-window Sunday games, just three late-window showdowns, a Sunday night tilt, and a standalone Monday night affair.
The ClutchPoints NFL picks, predictions, and odds column got back to its winning ways on Sunday, posting an 8-6 record both straight up and ATS last week (although we got there in different ways). That brings us to 55-38 (59.1%) straight up and 44-46-3 (48.8%) ATS on the season thus far.

So, let’s get right into the NFL Week 7 picks, predictions, and odds.
Courtesy of DraftKings, here are the NFL odds.
New England Patriots at Chicago Bears (-3)
If you are a regular reader of the ClutchPoints NFL picks, predictions, and odds column, you know that we are making a killing right now, fading the public in prime-time games, especially on Thursday nights.
And the even better news is, the public likes the Patriots in this spot, which is exactly the opposite of what we liked before seeing the public number. The Bears are back, the Pats are still overrated, and the public is a mess right now, so let’s hammer Daaaaaaa Bears!
Pick: Bears 28-23
Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) at New Orleans Saints
This will be a weird game, and not just because the Steelers and Saints are both weird teams. This game is in Paris, which is in the midst of major political and civil unrest right now, which can’t help but bleed into the vibes around this contest.
Sticking strictly to football, the Saints have been a Jekyll and Hyde team all season, so after beating up on the Giants, we’d expect them to come back down to earth. On the other side, the Steelers have been unusually consistent while racking up their 4-2 record. We’ll take the Steelers here to win and to do so comfortably.
Pick: Steelers 25-20
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers (-3)
This is one of the hardest games to pick on the NFL Week 7 slate, as an NFC South matchup between two relatively even teams never seems to go the way you think it will. And with Baker Mayfield possibly coming back, there are a lot of angles to consider.
The Buccaneers may be better off with Jalon Daniels than Mayfield, but that is beside the point. With all other things being even, the ClutchPoints NFL picks, predictions, and odds column is just going to pick off the fact that we believe the Panthers are a better overall team than the Bucs right now.
Pick: Panthers 17-10
San Francisco 49ers (-2.5) at Atlanta Falcons
While we’ve talked about parity in the NFL a lot this season, the 49ers do seem like one of the teams that has risen to the top. They weren’t overly convincing in their Monday Night Football win over the Commanders, but they are 6-0 nonetheless.
So, while we’re not totally out on the Falcons after their loss to the Bears, we still like the 49ers here. Atlanta actually hasn’t been good at home of late and has struggled to cover the spread in their dome. That indoor environment will be a nice change of pace for the Niners, and Brock Purdy should be able to deal on the carpet.
Pick: 49ers 27-23
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-1.5)
The Bengals are coming off a bye, and we still don’t really know what is going on with Lamar Jackson. For those reasons alone, we like the Bengals getting points in this spot. Additionally, the NFC North is so tight this season, why not take the points in almost any divisional scenario?
Outside of those reasons, this pick is just a vote of confidence for Joe Burrow and company. They’ve had ups and downs this year, but when they are right, the offense is still elite, and the defense is improved, so that’s what we’ll bet on.
Pick: Bengals 24-21
New York Giants at Houston Texans (-10.5)
I’m sorry, what? I know the Texans are starting to get their groove back, and the Giants looked rough against the Saints and now have J.J. McCarthy starting, but what exactly have the Texans done to be 10.5-point favorites over anyone?
Houston has rebounded nicely from their tough start, but they are coming back from London and facing a quarterback they’ve seen almost nothing from with his new team. I do believe they can win this game at home, but a 10.5-point favorite? That’s a little rich.
Pick: Texans 20-16
Miami Dolphins at New York Jets (-4.5)
There are several historic markers that say Aaron Glenn and the Jets have a real chance to not cover, or even lose this game. However, looking at the 2026 versions of these two teams, we should be able to throw history out the window.
The Dolphins are incredibly bad, and what they did even in the lean years under Mike McDaniel should have no bearing on this game. Plus, the Jets are improved and have been covering this season, which means we can throw out the putrid Jets stats as well. It’s not easy to do, but we’ll confidently take Gang Green to cover
Pick: Jets 16-6
Cleveland Browns (-1.5) at Tennessee Titans
Congratulations on your first win of the season, Titans! Now, you can get back to your losing ways. Tennessee got off the schneid last Sunday, but that in no way suggests that they are ready to rip off a few wins in a row. In fact, the Titans have lost (straight up and ATS) after a win 12 times in a row, going all the way back to 2022.
The Browns are playing well, too, so give them some credit here. The Cleveland defense should have a field day with Cam Ward, and Deshaun Watson will continue to do just enough to win. Still, that 12-in-a-row stat is enough to pick this one for the Browns on its own.
Pick: Browns 18-12
Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings (-6.5)
We know about the new coach bump, but is there a new general manager bump as well? Can we expect some revitalized play from the Colts after jettisoning Chris Ballard? Well, history actually tells us, yes. After the last 12 times a team has fired its GM midseason, they have gone 8-4.
It gets ugly after that, with none of those 12 teams making the playoffs, but at least for one game, the players do see to respond positively. So, while we like the Vikings overall here, let’s take the Colts to at least cover.
Pick: Vikings 16-13
Denver Broncos (-4.5) at Arizona Cardinals
Bo Nix and the Broncos have to be one of the most frustrating teams in the league. They look bad in almost every game, but they don’t have the decency of the Titans, Dolphins, and Cardinals to just be bad and lose most games, though. Despite atrocious stats, Nix is somehow 4-2, and we have no idea how this game against the Cardinals may end up.
The Cardinals have been bad outside of wins over the Chargers and Rams, but we now know those teams may not be as good as advertised. So, can they hang with the Broncos at home? We have no idea. But we’re willing to bet the public doesn’t either. They like the Broncos to cover at over 60%, so we’ll take the Cards to at least keep it close.

Los Angeles Rams (-3.5) at Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders gave the Bills all they could handle in Week 6, and the Rams lost again, this time to the Cardinals. Those facts make this seem like an open-and-shut case, although the Rams always have the potential to score in bunches, even without Davante Adams.
Still, we’re going to go all in on the Raiders here as home dogs. Klint Kubiak is building something, and taking down the Rams would be the next step in that process. Yes, it is hard to see the Rams losing three in a row, but this just may be a lost season for the Rams' super team, like many “super teams” of the past have known well.
Pick: Raiders 33-31
Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions (-3)
The Packers have looked like they have figured things out on both sides of the ball and are playing great right now. That said, it was just a month ago when Matt LaFleur was the worst coach in the NFL and needed to be fired immediately, right, Green Bay fans?
In all seriousness, though, the Packers are playing well, but we’re not sold on them as the best of the NFC North yet. The Lions are at home, coming off a bye, and were playing pretty well themselves last we saw them in a 24-point win over the Cardinals. We like Dan Campbell and Jared Goff off a bye, so give us the Lions here in a shootout.
Pick: Lions 35-31
Kansas City Chiefs at Seattle Seahawks (-3)
This is another fade-the-public situation for the Sunday Night game. At 6-0, John Q. Sportsguy is loading up on the Chiefs to beat up on the middling Seahawks, who are struggling to run the ball right now. The public is taking the Chiefs at almost a 90% clip.
Playing in Seattle, especially at night, is incredibly difficult, though, and this is still the Super Bowl champions. We could absolutely see this being a close game, but the public’s certainty pushes the ClutchPoints NFL picks, predictions, and odds column in the other direction. Give us the Seahawks.
Pick: Seahawks 27-21
Dallas Cowboys (-4.5) at Philadelphia Eagles
It seems that no one wants to win the NFC East, so these two teams should play a close game. It makes sense that the Cowboys are favored here with Jalen Hurts’ health issues taking him out, but where the Dallas defense is concerned, any offense can score points against them.
Dak Prescott has always been good on Monday Night Football, going 7-2 SU/ATS on the weekday and 5-0 in those categories when on the road. We like that stat, and while the Eagles put up a valiant fight the last few weeks while losing player after player, the injury list is now just too long to beat the Cowboys in prime time.
Pick: Cowboys 35-16
