The New York Giants kicked off the John Harbaugh era with a huge victory over a rival. The Giants beat the Cowboys 28-20 in the first Sunday Night Football of the year, and their offensive intensity drew the attention of Mina Kimes on Monday's edition of NFL Live.

“All off-season we've been wondering what is this Giants offense going to look like? What is the marriage between Matt Nagy and Greg Roman going to look like? I think we got an answer. They're gonna kick you in the teeth. That is the identity of this Giants offense. We're gonna put big bodies on the field,Patrick Ricard rarely left the field by the way, and we're gonna run it down your throats.

She continued, “Different concepts on the ground, didn't matter. They averaged 4.05 yards before contact per carry on the ground. This Giants offensive line is as good as we hoped it would be — in pass protection as well, by the way. Dallas, 24 man rushes, two pressures. Now, some of that is because Jackson Dart threw the ball quickly, but a lot of it is that Giants offensive line. To me, that is the identity of this football team, and they asserted it last night.”

The Giants' offense was well-rounded on the ground and through the air. Jackson Dart threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns on 23 of 29 attempts, with two of those touchdown passes going to new Giants tight end Isaiah Likely and one touchdown to Devin Singletary. Meanwhile, Cam Skattebo led the team in the run game, rushing for 81 yards on 18 carries and one touchdown. Dart was also effective in the run game, rushing for 54 yards on 11 carries.
