Following the Cleveland Browns’ 23-19 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Browns head coach Todd Monken delivered an explosive postgame callout directed at Tomlin’s recent critique of his team. When asked about Tomlin invoking the infamous “Browns is the Browns” phrase after Cleveland’s Week 1 loss, Monken did not hold back.

“‘Browns are gonna Browns' — f*** that, OK?” Monken declared before exiting the podium. “The guys took that to heart.”

Appearing on NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcast shortly after Monken’s expletive-laden press conference went viral, Tomlin leaned into the feud with a hilarious truth bomb regarding his new media career.

Tomlin added that he was glad he could “still motivate” teams from the studio desk. However, he also offered genuine respect, praising Cleveland's defense for playing with spirit after a tough week.

That defensive intensity proved crucial on the field in Tampa. After trailing 9-6 at halftime, quarterback Deshaun Watson sparked the offense with two second-half scoring drives. Watson ultimately engineered the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, connecting with tight end Blake Whiteheart on a 17-yard touchdown pass to secure the 23-19 win.
