The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a delicate situation with Joey Porter Jr. Pittsburgh's star cornerback is in a contract dispute that shows no signs of slowing down. One Steelers coach is doing everything he can to not address the elephant in the room surrounding Porter's demands.

Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy claimed that Porter is still in the “ramp up” stage following his reported back injury, per The Athletic's Mike DeFabo.

“We sat down and talked about it, talked about the plan for next week,” McCarthy added. “He's definitely ready to do more, so we'll see how that goes.”

However, Porter was spotted leaving Pittsburgh's locker room well before everyone else following Week 1.
