Michigan football is reportedly preparing for a quarterback change ahead of Saturday's matchup against No. 6 Indiana.
The Wolverines are expected to start freshman Tommy Carr instead of Bryce Underwood in a significant shakeup at quarterback.
The reported decision follows Michigan's 21-18 victory over Penn State, when Carr replaced Underwood at halftime.
Underwood struggled against the Nittany Lions, completing five of 11 passes for 43 yards and throwing two interceptions.
Carr helped turn the game around, leading Michigan to three second-half touchdowns and a comeback victory.
However, head coach Kyle Whittingham declined Monday to publicly name his starting quarterback against Indiana.
CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz revealed Tuesday on X, formerly Twitter, that Michigan is expected to make the switch.
