Coach Steve Sarkisian's Texas Longhorns outlasted Ole Miss for a 34-27 upset victory in Week 8 college football action, outpacing Trinidad Chambliss' team on a night when Arch Manning looked like his old self again. Texas got a Cam Coleman injury scare that gave way to better moments as Sarkisian's team pulled off a huge win behind a huge day on the ground from running back Raleek Brown.

“That game was crazy man,” Hayes Fawcett of On3 remarked as fans attempted to digest what they witnessed at Darrell K Royal Texas-Memorial Stadium in Austin.

The Longhorns led 24-3 at halftime before Chambliss' crew came roaring back to score 14 unanswered points in the third quarter. Chambliss and the Rebels tied the game at 24 apiece on a 27-yard touchdown pass to Horatio Fields that gave Manning and his teammates a chance to come through in the clutch.

Manning scored on a one-yard touchdown run to make it 31-24, and a Gianni Spetic field goal gave the Longhorns enough breathing room to outlast coach Pete Golding's squad.
