One of the many attendees of Game 3 between the Atlanta Dream and the New York Liberty was pop singer Olivia Rodrigo, and WNBA star Angel Reese was starstruck.

Her response to learning that the “Good 4 U” singer was in the building went viral. She leapt out of her seat and appeared to say, “I love her,” while acting bashful.

Perhaps Reese seeing Rodrigo in the crowd motivated her. She led her team with 22 points, making seven of 18 shots, and had nine rebounds.

Rodrigo had a few days off on her Unraveled Tour, and she traveled to Brooklyn, New York, to watch Game 3 of the WNBA Semifinals. She will return to the Barclays Center to perform 10 shows at the venue in February 2027. This is her last stop in North America on the tour.

She was off on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, for Game 3 after performing two shows in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Spectrum Center on Oct. 7 and 8. Her next show was on Sunday, Oct. 11, in Chicago, Illinois. She will perform a second show at the United Center on Oct. 12.

The Dream swept the Liberty in the playoffs, winning two of the three contests by double digits. Game 3 was the closest one between the teams, with the Dream winning by two points.

Reese was dominant in the series against the Liberty. She scored over 20 points in the last two games, and she averaged 7.6 rebounds per game. She also had seven blocks in the series.

During the regular season, her third in the WNBA, Reese averaged a career-high 16.4 points per game while making 45.1% of her shots. She also averaged 12.1 rebounds per game.

Her jump to the Dream after playing the first two years of her WNBA career on the Chicago Sky has been a success. She has a chance at her first championship as the Dream prepare to take on the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA Finals. Game 1 will be played on Saturday, Oct. 17.
