Lamar Jackson and Jesse Minter made their thoughts on New Orleans' game-winning touchdown very clear following the Baltimore Ravens' 24-17 upset loss to the Saints on Sunday afternoon.

Baltimore boasted a 17-9 lead going into the fourth quarter. However, they suffered a stunning collapse as New Orleans scored the last 15 points of the game. Tyler Shough dealt the final blow with his touchdown in the final minutes.

The Ravens failed to fire back on their drive, seeing Jackson throw an interception. Jackson and Minter reflected on the loss after the game, giving their takes on what went down on Shough's touchdown drive.

“On Raven, I don't think they scored,” Jackson said, per reporter Jamison Hensley.

“That's such an interesting play. I give our guys a lot of credit. I felt like on back-to-back plays, our front did a really nice job. Those [calls] are so subjective and it's so hard to tell. It is what it is, honestly,” Minter stated, per reporter Jeff Zrebiec.

How Lamar Jackson, Ravens played against Saints

Lamar Jackson, Jesse Minter and the Ravens are back on the drawing board. Fourth-quarter collapses have become familiar once again, needing adjustments for how they maintain leads down the stretch. The loss to the Saints at home should be a clear wake-up call.

Jackson had a mixed performance in the home opener. He completed 21 out of 31 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown and an interception while rushing four times for 34 yards.

Derrick Henry had an active outing in the offense, racking up 16 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown while catching three passes for 19 yards. Rashod Bateman shined in Zay Flowers' absence, making seven catches for 88 yards and a touchdown.

The Ravens will look to bounce back in their next matchup, traveling to Brazil. They take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 as kickoff commences on Sept. 27 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
