Kyler Murray will not return to SundayâÂÂs season opener.
The Vikings announced Murray has been downgraded to out with a concussion.
Murray sustained a hard, illegal blow to the head midway through the first quarter while sliding at the end of a third-down scramble. Safety Javon Bullard was flagged for unnecessary roughness, but was not ejected.
Murray was able to leave the field under his own power before heading back to the locker room for further evaluation.
MurrayâÂÂs Vikings debut ends with him having completed 3-of-5 passes for 18 yards with an interception.
Carson Wentz has come in to replace Murray at QB. J.J. McCarthy is the teamâÂÂs emergency third QB.
The Packers lead the Vikings 12-3 midway through the second quarter.
