Last year, in Dec. 2025, Jake Paul faced Anthony Joshua and suffered a broken jaw and a humiliating defeat. Following the jaw injury, Paul had to move away from combat sports and undergo two surgeries. Now recovered from the injury, Paul is looking forward to his in-ring comeback.
After a span of several months, Paul has been cleared to return to boxing. Paul has now returned to the gym to begin training for his return, a video of which recently went viral and landed him in trouble for animal abuse.
Recently, Paul's MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian shared a post on X, talking about Paul's upcoming return and potential list of challengers. “Jake Paul update: We are actively negotiating with 4 potential opponents for Jake’s return to boxing in late 2026/ early 2027. Based on the opponent we will determine the location and distribution.”

So sorry to miss you,” Bidarian responded on social media. Previously, Paul had also shared his list of 13 opponents he wishes to face upon his boxing return.
While Bidarian ruled out the potential Jake Paul vs. KSI fight, it should be noted that KSI has never fought “The Problem Child” in the past. However, Paul's elder brother, Logan Paul, faced KSI in 2019 and lost the fight. On the other hand, Jake Paul fought KSI's younger brother, Deji, in 2018 and successfully defeated him. While KSI vs. Logan Paul was a professional fight, Jake Paul vs. Deji was an amateur fight.
