Gaines will be evaluated after warmups at Waldo Stadium. He has rushed for 234 yards on 45 carries this season, averaging 5.2 yards per attempt with two touchdowns. His availability matters for a Boise State offense that has leaned heavily on its dynamic rushing attack. Gaines rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown against South Dakota last week. That marked his second 90-plus-yard performance of the season. If he cannot go, the Broncos will have to lean even more on Dylan Riley. The latter erupted for a career-high 206 rushing yards against Memphis. Meanwhile, Juelz Goff and Harry Stewart III could also see increased opportunities.
