Josh Uche is enjoying life in South Beach. So much so that he doesn't want to leave the Miami Dolphins anytime soon, especially for this season.
Uche has been playing in the NFL since 2020, going through his first season with the Dolphins. He is active within the defense, making five out of six starts with his presence as a tackler.
Uche spoke with media on Thursday, per reporter Joe Schad. He explained why he wants to stay with Miami past the NFL trade deadline, including no toxicity and having praise towards Jeff Hafley.
“It starts with the head coach. Just the energy he brings, no toxicity. It's just all football, all ball, all details, all discipline. And then after that, I'll go to you know Austin Clark. I mean, just like that old school type of football. I think it complements what the head coach does as well. And then just third, just the overall locker room, like the vibes of the guys, regardless of the situation, regardless of the outcome. There's no pointing fingers. It's just like we're just bros,” Uche said.
