Just two weeks into the season, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is already in MVP form. That should be an ominous sign for the rest of the NFL.
Allen delivered a masterclass in their win over the Detroit Lions in Week 2, leading the Bills to a successful debut at New Highmark Stadium. He went 20-of-31 for 248 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He also had 14 carries for 69 yards and two touchdowns.
Allen is pretty good at this football thing.
But the former MVP would be the first to say he can still improve. Bills coach Joe Brady would probably be the second. Brady quipped that he is Allen's “biggest hater,” and the 30-year-old superstar totally agreed.
“Absolutely! Yeah. Him or Kyle Allen. One of the two guys in our quarterback room,” said Brady with a smile.

Brady is in his first season in Buffalo, and he quickly developed a close bond with Allen. Their strong connection will be a major factor for the Bills, as Allen aims to finally advance to the Super Bowl.
The 37-year-old Brady has repeatedly gushed about the all-around acumen of his signal-caller. After their win over the Lions, the rookie coach paid Allen the ultimate compliment.
“Anytime the ball is in his hands, good things happen. I love that guy,” said Brady in a report from the Associated Press' John Wawrow.
Buffalo will try to go 3-0 against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
The Bills' hot start could fizzle out, but as long as Allen is leading the charge and learning from his “biggest hater,” what is not to love?
