Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez expressed his gratitude toward the city Monday after a 7-3 comeback victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.
The Guardians moved three wins from their first World Series appearance since 2016 after Cleveland was able to overcome a 0-2 deficit vs. the Chicago White Sox in the ALDS.
MLB.com’s Anthony Castrovince took to X, formerly Twitter, to share Ramirez’s translated message about his strong bond with the city following the series-opening win.
