With the defense staying hungry and Jordan Love showcasing efficiency, the Green Bay Packers carved up the Chicago Bears, 31-7, at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

The Packers did not allow a late-game comeback this time, making sure that they did not relax after a big lead. They improved to 3-2, tying the Bears.

The win, however, was bittersweet, as Green Bay lost Javon Hargrave to what appeared to be a major injury in the fourth quarter. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Hargrave could be out for a while.

“Packers DT Javon Hargrave is believed to have torn his Achilles, coach Matt LaFleur told reporters. The second torn Achilles in as many weeks for the GB defense,” wrote Rapoport on X.

Edgerrin Cooper suffered an Achilles injury in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is sidelined for the season.

The 33-year-old Hargrave, who is in his first season with the Packers, went down without contact while pressuring Case Keenum with two minutes left. He finished with one tackle and one quarterback hit.

Karl Brooks, Anthony Campbell, Jonathan Ford, Chris McClellan, and Devonte Wyatt will have to step up in Hargrave's absence.

Love went 25-of-31 for 367 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions, while the defense forced five turnovers.

“We kept our foot on the gas. Matt (LaFleur) was dialing it up. That's what it needs to look like right there,” said Love in a report from the Associated Press' Steve Megargee.

MarShawn Lloyd had 10 carries for 31 yards and two touchdowns, while Christian Watson had six receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
