Jason Cundy surprsingly admitted there is a worse Premier League side than Tottenham - in his eyes at least.
The Sports Bar co-host questioned if there is a point to supporting Everton having watched them in EFL Cup action.
Cundy is no stranger to donning the famous 'Ange mask' and dishing the dirt on Roberto De Zerbi's men, winding up co-host Jamie O'Hara - a supporter and former player of Spurs - who suggested his beloved side would win the Bundesliga to Cundy's surprise.
The former Chelsea man, though, directed his ire in the direction of Merseyside after Everton fan John called into the show.
Why do Everton annoy Cundy?
"They wind me up," Cundy told John.
"You are the biggest football club of the underachievers in the country.
"You lot are a behemoth of a club, you're a massive football club, but you are the biggest underachievers."
Cundy wondered why they never win anything or, in his eyes, try and win a cup competition.
"Just win something, John. Win something. Everton don't win anything," he continued.
John agreed. "I know they don't. They don't at all. I think this year, one of the advantages of having a small squad is the fact that you can't mess about and start playing reserve players, or resting players.
"That doesn't work for us. It hasn't in the past. We beat Wolves [in round three of the EFL Cup], the same round we got battered by Wolves at Wolves last year.
"[Manager David Moyes] dropped all the first team players, and played a lot of non-starters, and we got battered.
"That's not the way. That's where we've been falling down."
O'Hara then got involved in the discussion, adding: "Everton are as big as Tottenham right?ÃÂ They'reÃÂ aÃÂ massiveÃÂ clubÃÂ right? And Tottenham are guff.
"At least we won the Europa League a couple of years ago."
'Like a bad smell'
Cundy turned his attention back to Everton, stating: "At least [Tottenham] pretend to try. They don't even pretend to try.
"I'm going to say it now. I thinkÃÂ Everton's the worst club to support. Worse than Spurs.
"They don't even look or feel like they're going to do anything or win anything. They just hang around.
"They're like a bad smell. They literally linger in the Premier League.
"Everton do nothing. What do they do? What does Everton Football Club do?"

O'Hara was quick to defend the Toffees, though.
"Well, they're in the Premier League and they've never been relegated. I can't call Everton a bad smell.
"They're a massive football club. They are a huge football club. I like Everton. They are a fantastic football club.
"It's not easy to survive in the Premier League. They've never been relegated. That's an achievement."
But Cundy was having none of it, shooting back: "That's exactly it.ÃÂ TheÃÂ pointÃÂ I'mÃÂ making. They hang around. They just linger.
"They're a bad odour. That's what Everton are. They hang around.
"They used to be [a massive club]. They're not. They're literally living off their history. They don't do anything."
Cundy is referring to Everton's stature in English football in the 1980s when they were the country's top team along with Liverpool.
The reached the FA Cup final three times, winning it in 1984 and then won the European Cup Winners Cup and League title in 1985, winning the league again in 1987.
Moyes has overseen an unbeaten start to the season, though two of their three competitive wins have come against lower-league opposition in the League Cup.
