Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jalon Daniels was fired up after delivering his best performance of his young career. He led the Buccaneers past the Dallas Cowboys, 24-17, at AT&T Stadium on Thursday for their first win after a 0-4 start.

Daniels went 19-of-25 for 189 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. He also had seven carries for 23 yards.

After the game, Daniels shared a heartwarming moment with his mother, Star Daniels, who exclaimed how proud she is of her son.

The 23-year-old rookie, who went undrafted in April, also took to X to celebrate their victory.

“GO BUCS, BABY!❤️🖤 #WeAreTheKrewe,” wrote the backup signal-caller.

He was thrown into the fire in Week 3 after Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a thumb injury.

He is expected to start again in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
