At the finale of his 30-night Madison Square Garden (MSG) Together, Together residency on Halloween, Harry Styles was joined by Jalen Brunson.

The 2026 NBA Finals MVP presented the “As It Was” singer with a banner to commemorate his residency, which was raised into the rafters. However, it didn't come without a friendly jab.

A couple of weeks ago, Styles attended the New York Knicks' Opening Night game against the Philadelphia 76ers. They raised their championship banner before the game. Styles was there, but that appears to be the only game he has attended.

“This is my third show, [but] you've only been to one game, so he has some catching up to do, but without further ado, let's pay attention this way,” Brunson said, pointing to the banner as it was raised.

Brunson has attended three of Styles' 30 shows at the Garden during his residency, which ran from Aug. 26 to Oct. 31. Jamie xx opened for him at all of the shows.

The Knicks' captain was first seen at Styles' show on Sep. 12. He received a special shoutout from the singer; however, his cover was blown.

“Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks. We may or may not have the King of New York in the house tonight… Mr. Jalen Brunson,” said Styles before he saluted the captain.

The crowd went wild, and Styles joked, “He's just trying to have a quiet night out — not a chance. Not in this city. It's like Mickey Mouse going to Disneyland.”

A few weeks later, Brunson was seen at another one of his shows. This time, he was seen singing along to “As It Was” from his seat. He then attended the final show of the residency on Halloween. Styles will close out the year with six shows in Australia. The Together, Together Tour will resume in April 2027 with North American and European legs.
