Jake Paul did not hold back in his response to Lane Kiffin's team losing to his former university, Ole Miss.

Kiffin now coaches for LSU following his departure from Ole Miss in 2025 after six seasons. In their first matchup since Kiffin left Ole Miss, LSU fell 32-24 to the Rebels on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Paul went on X to troll Kiffin for losing to Ole Miss.

“HAHAHAHA LANE KIFFIN A H*!!!” the boxer wrote on X.

Despite ultimately losing to Ole Miss, LSU put up a fight while entering halftime trailing 24-7. They were able to adjust in the second half with LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt led a throwing a 26-yard touchdown dart to Winston Watkins Jr. and a field goal that tied the score at 24. Rebels' Trinidad Chambliss would then engineer a 75-yard drive and make a 14-yard touchdown run to take the lead and ultimately the game with the score 32-24.

After the game, Kiffin explained how it felt to be back at Ole Miss and the pressure of the loss.

“Like I said, probably not what I would have thought,” Kiffin said on the overall experience of the game. “It was just a lot. Coming in, I'm sure that'll be criticized, whatever, but there's a lot of stuff. Six years here and a lot of things, a lot of life-changing experiences, and a lot of really good people that helped me through some really hard times.”

Kiffin shared with reporters how he would describe the final half of the game after the slow start for LSU.

“I was glad they battled back in there. The game could have kept going the way it was,” he added. “They really strained during that third quarter and early fourth quarter and kind of had them on the ropes.”

The LSU coach explained how he's preparing for what's ahead: “We're 0-1 in SEC play. Again, whether win or loss, I was already ready for that, knowing, man, it feels like we've already played a season with so much emotion in the games—the first and third games and all the stuff. Now we're right back to where we've always been and have eight SEC games to play. There's a lot of football left. We go back home next week and get a win.”

Next up for LSU will be a matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies at home on Saturday, Sept. 26.
