Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington had the first big play in London today. At least, the first big play that wasn’t called back by a penalty.

Washington caught a short pass from Trevor Lawrence and raced through the Eagles’ secondary for a 51-yard touchdown to give Jacksonville a 7-0 lead.

On the play just before that one, Jaguars wide receiver Travis Hunter caught a nine-yard pass on second-and-7, a rare offensive contribution for the two-way player who has played mostly defense this season.

The Jaguars’ drive started when the Eagles were stopped on fourth-and-1, on a surprising play call when they had Jalen Hurts in the shotgun and handing off to running back Will Shipley, rather than taking it himself on the tush push.

Now the Eagles’ much-maligned offense needs to get something going.
