The Jacksonville Jaguars had plenty to be happy about despite an injury to receiver Brian Thomas Jr., who had already gone through injury woes in August. However, the good news is that although Thomas is banged up, fantasy football managers have no reason to worry, according to a post on X by Michael DiRocco.
âÂÂJaguars HC Liam Coen said WR Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) will be limited this week. But âÂÂI fully imagine him being able to play this game [at Denver]. No issues, just might not be able to get hit throughout the week or something.â âÂÂ
That should be music to the ears of quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguarsâ offense.

Thomas got off to a very encouraging start. Coming off a poor season in 2025, Thomas caught all three of his targets for 40 yards before suffering the first-half injury. He entered the season as part of a strong mix of receivers for the Jaguars. Coen said it was a good problem to have Parker Washington, Thomas, and Jakobi Meyers, according to ESPN.
âÂÂThese guys know that every one of them is going to have plays schemed for them,â Coen said. âÂÂThere's no question. All those guys will have that, and then it's just within the play, within the progressions, within the alerts, they're going to have to eat, as well.

Meyers said the receivers complement each other.
âÂÂBalance,â he said. âÂÂThat's the best way to describe us, honestly. I think (we have a) very well-balanced room. We've got guys who are smart, first and foremost, [and] who understand what they're doing. And then second, can make a bunch of plays. So, I think we're in a good spot.âÂÂ
It helps that Lawrence is coming off a very strong season. And Lawrence hit the ground running in Week 1 with a standout effort.
