In the aftermath of Team USA’s thrilling comeback against France to win the 2026 FIBA World Cup, few stood as proud as Las Vegas Aces star Jackie Young. She was arguably the team’s most consistent player throughout the entire tournament, and she was named the Player of the Game albeit the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player going to New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart.

And she made a little bit of basketball history to boot. Following Team USA’s gold medal win, Jackie Young became the first player to have won a high school state title, an NCAA championship, a WNBA championship, an Olympic gold medal for 5×5 basketball, an Olympic gold medal for 3×3 basketball and now a FIBA World Cup gold medal, as per Alexa Philippou of ESPN.

Young has actually won three WNBA championships, all with the Aces. In the gold medal clincher, her all-around game was on display as she finished with 18 points, six rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes of play. She shot 7-of-14 from the field and 4-of-7 from the 3-point line.

Across all six games of the tournament for Team USA, the former No. 1 overall pick averaged 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists with splits of 51.7 percent shooting from the field, 36.8 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 70 percent shooting from the free-throw line.

In 2015, Young won an Indiana Class 3A state championship at Princeton High School. She won an NCAA tite in 2018 with Notre Dame. She won three titles with the Aces in 2022, 2023 and 2025. Her 5×5 Olympic gold medal came in 2024 in Paris and her 3×3 gold medal was in 2021 in Tokyo.
