Jack Antonoff is not happy to say the least about Macklemore's removal from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour last month following his Free Palestine speech.

The Grammy-winning producer did not hold back from expressing his feelings about Sheeran — and Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft, who Antonoff also brought up — in a new interview with The Guardian published on Sunday, October 25. Antonoff claimed that Sheeran “missed a massive, beautiful opportunity there” and that he should “just cancel the whole f—— tour, then play for free outside each venue, raise a bunch of money, rather than let a f—— billionaire tell you what to do.”

Kraft was seemingly the “billionaire” the producer was referring to, as the rapper claimed he “rallied some of the other stadium owners” to convince Sheeran to drop him from the tour. However, Sheeran has shared that Macklemore's removal from the tour was not his decision.

“I was informed that this stance was based on how Macklemore conveyed part of his message during his performance, rather than on everything that was said,” Sheeran explained in a post on Instagram last month. “I spoke with the venues at length all week to try and build a bridge. One of those people was Robert Kraft. I was also involved in direct talks with promoters along with activists on both sides to try and find a mutual resolution for all, but the venue's and promoter's decision was final.”

Sheeran has since had other openers for his tour following Macklemore's exit as the other starter acts voluntarily dropped out amid the controversy. Macklemore has also since moved on the from incident and announced a Free Palestine Tour in support of awareness and humanitarian efforts for Palestine and Palestinians. The concert series will kick off in October with arena shows in Dublin, Paris, and London. The Grammy-winning rapper will also be sharing US dates as well as artists joining him soon.

The “Shape of You” singer has yet to address Antonoff's comments. His next Loop Tour show will be in Hollywood, Florida on Thursday, October 29.
