The Cincinnati Bengals are currently gearing up for their Week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins on the road. The Bengals are looking to bounce back after losing two straight games to even up their record at 2-2.
The Bengals have been awaiting updates on star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who suffered a concussion during last week's home loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and on Thursday, the team got a positive development in that regard.
“Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase is back at practice. Been in concussion protocol,” reported NFL insider Ben Baby of ESPN on X, formerly Twitter.
However, Baby did report that “Chase is still working his way through the protocol ahead of Sunday’s game at Miami.”
At this point, it's unclear if Chase will be able to clear the protocol in time to make it back for that matchup.
Of course, if he were to miss a game, the Dolphins would likely be the opponent that Cincinnati would want to face without him, as the Dolphins have looked absolutely listless this season and have yet to win a game.

Chase has been having an excellent season thus far for the Bengals this year, consistently torching some of the elite opposing defenses in the NFL and continuing to stake his claim as the best player at his position in the league.
In any case, the Bengals and Dolphins are set to kick off on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET in Miami.
