Given that Caitlin Clark is listed on the Fever injury report as probable, the assumption is that she will play against the Tempo. While her back has been a recurring issue, she has not missed a game since the teamâÂÂs July 5 win against the Las Vegas Aces.
Clark played a key role in Team USAâÂÂs gold medal run, including hitting key shots in the clinching game against France. SheâÂÂs been among the WNBAâÂÂs MVP candidates this season as the Fever hope to make a deep playoff run once the postseason starts at the end of the month.
The former Iowa star has appeared in 36 so far this season, at a little over 31 minutes per game. SheâÂÂs averaging a career-high 22.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 1.0 steals with splits of 45.6 percent shooting from the field, 37.3 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 83.3 percent shooting from the free-throw line.
