Why was Travis Kelce in New York City with Taylor Swift after the Chiefs game?
Generally speaking, Kelce wouldn't likely be able to travel to New York City on a Monday after a game to be with his wife. However, the Chiefs are now on their bye week, meaning they won't play again until Sunday, Oct. 18, when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
They are also coming off a win against the Raiders. It was a close game, but the Chiefs were able to beat their division rivals 30-27. Kelce finished the game with two catches for 15 yards, his lowest yardage total of the season.

The schedule gets tougher after the bye week. Kansas City will play the Chargers, the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, and the Broncos in their next three games.
Kelce has turned back the clock during his 14th season in the NFL. He has caught 16 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns so far. He is averaging 15.4 yards per catch, which is his highest average ever. Currently, he is on pace to log over 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2022. We'll see if he pulls it off.
