Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Commanders Game Preview:

The Eagles have lost their last five games, most recently falling 38-21 to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night.

Tanner McKee, starting for the second straight week in place of Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season, went 23-of-35 for 211 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

“I think we’re doing a great job leading, and we’re working our ass off,” RB Saquon Barkley said after the loss. “And it sucks when the results aren’t going the way you wanted to go. I’m going to sound a broken record, but I really bought into this mindset. Just got to keep believing in the process, keep working and keep going. The results may not be what we want right now, but it doesn’t matter. We’ve got to go back to work. It takes all of us.”

Barkley rushed seven times for 62 yards, and a touchdown and two catches for 9 yards before leaving the game with a back injury.

The Commanders are coming off a bye in Week 7. At 1-4-1, they are currently last in the division and are the only team in the NFC East without a divisional win.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels, who missed two games after dislocating his left non-throwing elbow, is averaging 189.8 passing yards per game with seven total touchdowns (five passing, two rushing) and is winless in his four starts.
