Over the last month and some change, Harry Styles has performed a 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden, which will conclude on Halloween, and he returned to the venue to watch the New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers on Opening Night.
During the game, the Knicks showed some of the celebrities at the game. Of course, the usual suspects like Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, Fat Joe, and Tracy Morgan were there, as was Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay.

The biggest surprise might have been Styles, who was shown on the jumbotron, eliciting a huge pop from the crowd. He waved at the crowd from the luxury suite he was in.
Knicks' Jalen Brunson has been to some of Harry Styles' Madison Square Garden shows

Maybe Styles was just returning the favor to the Knicks. After all, the team's captain, Jalen Brunson, has attended a couple of his concerts during the Together, Together residency.
Brunson tried to stay incognito during the show, but Styles wouldn't let it happen. He shouted out the 2026 NBA Finals MVP, saying, “Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks. We may or may not have the King of New York in the house tonight… Mr. Jalen Brunson.”
Article Continues BelowThe crowd went crazy for Brunson as Styles saluted him, and he doubled down, saying, “He's just trying to have a quiet night out — not a chance. Not in this city. It's like Mickey Mouse going to Disneyland.”
That didn't deter Brunson from attending another show. He attended another concert on Oct. 9, 2026, and he was seen singing along with Styles during “As It Was.”
Now, it's all business for Brunson. He and the Knicks opened their season with a loss to the new-look Sixers, who were led by LeBron James and Jaylen Brown.
