The Cleveland Guardians have one of the best clutch hitters in the sport — and he happens to be their No. 9 hitter in the lineup. Brayan Rocchio has four walk-off hits this year and has established a reputation as a guy who loves the big moments. Rocchio has played a crucial role in Cleveland's success, as the Guardians are currently tied with the Chicago White Sox for first place in the American League Central standings. Manager Stephen Vogt recently shared his thoughts on Rocchio's impact, via MLB Network Radio.

“Obviously this is the third year with Brayan, he's always had that knack. When the game gets hairy or it's playoff time or it's late September, that's when Brayan plays his best,” Vogt said. “I think he just goes up there and competes… You mentioned Rocctember or whatever the fans say, when you get a nickname about yourself that you come up clutch at the end of the season and playoffs, you're gonna start to believe that.”

The 25-year-old has been clutch without question. His overall numbers do not jump off the page, but he still is an impactful player. The shortstop has hit .248/.309/.375 across 145 games played. He has 13 home runs, 22 doubles, two triples and 19 stolen bases as well. The Guardians would not be where they are without Rocchio's clutch performance.

Brayan Rocchio and the Guardians are set to begin a big three-game series against the Athletics on Friday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
