The Giants’ roster moves on Tuesday included moving linebacker Brian Burns to injured reserve.
Burns tore his ACL in Sunday’s loss to the Titans and will join quarterback Jaxson Dart on the sideline for the rest of the 2026 season. Abdul Carter and Kayvon Thibodeaux will be the main contributors off the edge in Burns’s absence.
The Giants also released wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on Tuesday and they filled the two open roster spots with wide receivers. Braxton Berrios is one of them — as previously reported — and Charlie Jones is the other one. Both wideouts were on the practice squad.
Jones played in 33 games for the Bengals over the last three seasons and had three touchdowns as a returner — one punt return and two kickoff returns — while playing a limited role on offense.
