Malik Nabers had firm confidence in his breakout performance happening throughout the New York Giants' 36-24 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.
Nabers is going through the sophomore campaign of his budding NFL career with the Giants. Despite an injury to co-star Jaxson Dart, the star receiver looks to remain productive and explosive in the offense.
Fortunately, he got that wish against Arizona. Nabers commanded the receiving corps with six catches for 112 yards and a touchdown. The receiver reflected on his performance after the game, commenting on his belief ahead of the Week 4 contest.
“I knew it was coming this game. Everybody was asking me. I was like, ‘I just felt good through the whole week.' I just didn't want to jinx myself, so I was just trying to be humble and wait for the game to come to me,” Nabers said, via reporter Jordan Raanan.
