Jack Swagger's Power Slap career has taken a sudden nosedive.
Real name Jake Hager, the two-time WWE champion and former professional MMA fighter, suffered his second consecutive defeat in Dana White's promotion on Thursday.
After scoring a big knockout in his April debut upon signing a six-fight deal with Power Slap, Hager was put on his backside during his second promotional appearance in July.
And things failed to improve when the 44-year-old returned to the podium for Power Slap 23 in Texas this week.

Following a closely contested opening round in the heavyweight division against fellow American Johnny Magna, Hager absorbed a vicious right-handed slap.
He was immediately stunned and instinctively grabbed his face as the slap connected directly with his eye.
After a brief recovery period, Hager was directed back to his corner.
"He hit me right in the eye," he said, wincing in pain.
All of a sudden, a red fluid began leaking from Hager's left eye in quite gruesome circumstances.
The referee then conducted an assessment on the former WWE superstar before quickly waving off the fight, much to Hager's visible frustration.
It was Hager's second straight Power Slap defeat, leaving him looking to bounce back with three fights remaining on his contract.

Elsewhere at Power Slap 23, former UFC heavyweight Chris Barnett put on a show for the Texas crowd during his debut.
From suffering wardrobe malfunctions to pre-fight Octagon injuries, Barnett was a fan favourite and had quite the unique UFC career.
He won two of his six bouts in the UFC and was later released from the promotion last November.
His last fight was a defeat to Hamdy Abdelwahab at UFC 321 one month prior.
However, 'Beast Boy' returned to combat sports emphatically this week, dancing his way to a points win over Jake Logan.
After a competitive back-and-forth, Barnett earned the nod on all three judges' scorecards.
He treated fans to his breakdancing skills before the match and openly mocked his opponent's slaps throughout the contest, much to the crowd's delight.
