Indiana Fever fans might have seen nothing yet from Caitlin Clark in the first round of the 2026 WNBA Playoffs.

Clark had a masterpiece of a performance on Tuesday to help the Fever stave off elimination at the hands of the reigning WNBA champions Las Vegas Aces. The former No. 1 overall WNBA draft pick delivered when it mattered the most for her team, scoring an efficient 27 points on 9-for-18 shooting from the field in Indiana's 99-89 win in Game 2 of the Aces series at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

In addition, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star dished out 15 assists and went 5-for-11 on shots from the 3-point region.

For Indiana head coach Stephanie White, the best is yet to come from Clark in the series.

“She was the catalyst for us here tonight and I think she’s going to take it to another level in game 3,” White said of Clark after the game (h/t Fever writer Robin Lundberg).

Clark could have done a little more if not for her fouling out with a little under three minutes left in the fourth quarter.

The Fever also got huge contribution from Kelsey Mitchell, who flanked Clark and put up 26 points on 7-for-16 shooting.

Indiana wouldn't have defeated the Aces without Clark stepping up and delivering a memorable performance, but White clearly believes that the superstar point guard is capable of topping that.

If the Fever are to eliminate A'ja Wilson and company, they will have to do it in enemy territory, with Game 3 scheduled on Thursday at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.
