The Indiana Fever had another solid regular season, but weren't able to build on that momentum in the postseason, losing to the Las Vegas Aces in the first round. There were already expectations that there would be some changes during the offseason, and one domino has already fallen with Kelly Krauskopf stepping down as president, according to WNBA insider Khristina Williams.
“Inbox: Kelly Krauskopf will step down as team president of the Indiana Fever, the organization announced via a statement. According to the statement, Krauskopf made her decision and informed leadership before the conclusion of the 2026 regular season,” Williams wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Krauskopf joined Pacers Sports & Entertainment in 1999, which was before the Fever's inaugural season in 2000. While in her role, the Pacers made 13 postseason appearances, which included a WNBA-record 12 consecutive playoff appearances, three WNBA Finals berths, and a title in 2012.

The Fever is poised for an exciting future, and I am proud to have helped lay the foundation for its continued growth and success. I will always cherish my time with Pacers Sports and Entertainment and the people who made it so meaningful.”
Krauskopf became the Pacers' assistant general manager in 2018, but returned to the Fever in 2024 as the president of basketball and business operations. That was the same year that Caitlin Clark was drafted by the team, and they made the playoffs, but were eliminated by the Connecticut Sun. The following year, they made it to the semifinals but lost to the Aces.
