Bijan Robinson is having quite a night Thursday against the Green Bay Packers, with the Atlanta Falcons star running back having his way against the home team's run defense.
Adding to the big evening the former Texas Longhorns star tailback is having is the historic mark he set in the first half.
“Bijan Robinson becomes the 10th player in NFL history with 6,000 career scrimmage yards before turning 25 years old,” NFL+ shared via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.
Robinson, who turned 24 years old in January, entered Week 3 with career totals of 4,065 rushing yards and 1,837 receiving yards for 5, 902 yards from scrimmage. He cleared the 6,000-yard plateau after going off in the first half of the Green Bay game with 111 rushing yards and 17 receiving yards to go along with a rushing score.
The Falcons stumbled early on in quarterback Michael Penix Jr.'s 2026 NFL season debut, as he was intercepted on the game's first drive. Atlanta later gave up a touchdown to Packers wide receiver Christian Watson. But it has been all Falcons since, with Robinson playing a huge role on offense, as Atlanta looks poised to finally break into the win column after losing their first two games of the campaign.
Robinson is always expected to deliver for the Falcons, regardless of who's at quarterback, but it appears he's comfortable having Penix handing him the ball in the backfield.
Altanta selected Bijan Robinson eighth overall in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft and signed him to a historic $75 million contract extension in August.
