The Alabama football team got beat soundly on Saturday, by Tennessee. Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell struggled, to say the least. He threw two interceptions in the game as Alabama lost, 26-10.

Russell was upset with himself after the game.

“I mean, we just put it on ourselves. I mean, we can't do what we did today. You know, we turned the ball over three, four times, and me, I had a horrible game,” Russell said, per 247 Sports. “Just putting it all on myself. Couldn't even lead my guys down the field past the 50 (yard line). I had careless turnovers and the last one was just like ‘what the hell is Keelon doing?' so we just can't do what we did going forward.”

Alabama's offense was woeful on Saturday. The Crimson Tide failed to score in the second half. Alabama also posted just 54 rushing yards in the game.

Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer knows his team must be much better.

“I just said, it's going to be really uncomfortable. And again, everything that I said to those guys — it's not like I didn't feel like they didn't practice. I mean, we had a lot of motivation to come back and have a great week, and prepare for this game.

“But moving forward, it's even gonna be another level of uncomfortable. A lot of guys haven't been through the last year or last two. I know they feel it. Our older guys have mentioned that even a couple weeks ago, just what it's gonna be like here in this stretch,” DeBoer said, per 247 Sports.

The Crimson Tide are at a crossroads. Alabama has dropped back-to-back games to Tennessee and Georgia. The team has little margin for error moving forward, if the squad is to make this year's College Football Playoff.

Alabama next plays Texas A&M on Saturday. The Crimson Tide are now 5-2 on the campaign.
