In a recent interview with The Athletic, Kane opened up about his future. While he has previously talked about pursuing golf, this time it was more about his role as an NFL placekicker.
“That is something I will try and look at a bit more seriously. It all depends on what happens in my career over the next five or six years, the motivation, and what I want to do. The NFL is a lot more realistic than the golf one, let’s put it that way.
“Maybe if I am in the MLS in the future or somewhere like that, it might be a thing where you could connect the two, with the seasons. But it is in the back of my mind because right now, I am feeling that I want to play as long as I can here,” Kane added.
Following a successful 2025-26 Bundesliga and a 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament, Kane is now a heavy favorite to win this year's Ballon d'Or. Still dominating the sport in Europe, fans might need to wait a bit longer to see Kane in the USA, and more specifically in the NFL and MLS.
