Everyone knows that country singer Ella Langley is “Choosin' Texas” all day long, and attendees of her show in Knoxville didn't appreciate the song before Tennessee's football game against the Longhorns.
A video has gone viral from Langley's concert at Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center. A large portion of the crowd began booing when she sang, “I'll know that his mind wasn't ever gonna change / ‘Cause his heart still belongs to the Lone Star State.”

There was an extended pause before Langley sang the final chorus. Of course, there were some cheers for her, but a large portion of the crowd booed before Tennessee's matchup against Texas.
Hopefully, she didn't take it too hard. She likely understands that she was singing the song in enemy territory, and the timing couldn't have been more ironic.

Both teams are undefeated, but only one can continue to be after this weekend. However, Tennessee has yet to beat a ranked opponent. Texas, meanwhile, is two weeks removed from defeating the then-No.1-ranked school in the country, Ohio State. The Longhorns erased a 20-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Buckeyes and take their place in the rankings.
Tennessee will be a tough test for Texas. They have dates against Oklahoma, Florida, and Ole Miss in the coming weeks after playing the Volunteers. If they manage to win all of those, they may remain the top-ranked school.
Texas quarterback Arch Manning has picked things up after a shaky first half against Ohio State. He has thrown seven touchdowns to two interceptions through three games, and he's also rushed for 83 yards.
