Jalen Hurts came through with major clutch plays down the stretch of the Philadelphia Eagles' 24-20 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon.

Hurts has been playing in the NFL since 2020, starting his seventh season with the Eagles. He shines as one of the best quarterbacks in the league, having led the franchise to the Super Bowl 59 title in 2024.

Tennessee put up a valiant effort by taking Philadelphia down to the wire. Despite their advances, Hurts put an end to their upset bid. He completed 26 out of 37 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Hurts' teammate Jordan Mailata reflected on Hurts' performance after the game. The veteran lineman's high remarks about the star quarterback were quite explicit, per reporter Zach Berman.

“That motherf***er balled out today. Jalen really got in his bag today,” Mailata said.

The Titans led 20-17 with two minutes remaining in the game. Jalen Hurts came to the rescue for the Eagles, delivering a game-winning touchdown pass to Darius Cooper.

Both teams traded blows throughout the course of the game, seeing Philadelphia lead 14-10 at halftime. Tennessee made its efforts to stun the Eagles in the second half. However, Hurts wasn't having it as he led his squad to victory with his clutch plays.

Tank Bigsby led the rushing attack after Saquon Barkley went down with injury. He finished with 13 carries for 33 yards and a touchdown while catching two passes for five yards.

DeVonta Smith flourished in the receiving game, making 10 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown. DonTayvion Wicks came next with five receptions for 74 yards, while Cooper caught two passes for 26 yards and the game-winning touchdown.

The Eagles will look forward to their next matchup, remaining on the road. They take on the Chicago Bears in Week 3 as kickoff commences on Sept. 28 at 8:15 p.m. ET.
