It sounds like Neyland Stadium will have a special guest in President Donald Trump when Tennessee and Texas' football teams square off on Saturday, Sep. 26.
Clay Travis reported that the president intended to attend the game, making the trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, for the showdown. The game between Tennessee and Texas' football teams will be interesting.
Both are 3-0, but the Volunteers have beaten three unranked programs (Furman, Georgia Tech, and Kennesaw State). Meanwhile, the Longhorns is two weeks removed from a dramatic 20-point fourth-quarter comeback against Ohio State. Texas is now the top-ranked school in the country after taking down Ohio State.
A win could do wonders for the Volunteers if they can take down the top-ranked program. Texas is also rolling after beating UTSA 30-6.

The reactions to Trump's intentions to attend the Tennessee-Texas game were mixed. One fan quipped, “I heard someone say ‘That’s a lot of Orange in one stadium,'” in response to Travis' post on X, formerly Twitter.
Another added that “he should be working on making diesel fuel under $6.50 a gallon instead” of going to the game, while someone else bluntly said, “Who gives a s**t! Nobody want[s] to see that f****r [clown face emoji].”
Others were not as upset by the news. Someone said that Trump “needs to be the GameDay guest picker.” His friend, Pat McAfee, is on the panel of ESPN's College GameDay. Maybe he could pull some strings to make that happen.
A different X user might have made the most important point. They pointed out that with the president attending the game, “everyone needs to arrive EVEN EARLIER.” New York Knicks fans know this after the security measures taken when the president attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
