After going 1-1 in Elysian Park to start off their NLDS series against the Atlanta Braves, the Los Angeles Dodgers took their show on the road to Freddie Freeman's old stomping grounds to prove to the MLB world why they are still the best team in baseball.
One player who played a key role in that effort was first-time All-Star Andy Pages, who put his 2025 postseason struggles behind him in a major with a two-run RBI that effectively sealed the deal for an NLDS victory.
Discussing Pages' efforts after the game, Freeman gave props to his center fielder, toasting his and other key at-bats from players like Josue De Paula and Kyle Tucker for giving the Dodgers the offensive edge in Atlanta.
“It means a lot. I know he's wanted this. He's had a great year, All-Star for the first time. He's had a great year, and came up huge when we needed to,” Freeman said. “But we got a shout-out to Teo for getting it started, Josue and Kyle Tucker's at-bats too, and Andy with a huge knock.”

Freeman was also asked for his overall opinion on the series, which saw his current team take down the one that drafted him all those years ago. While Freeman is understandably happy he was on the right side of the victory, he did acknowledge that it was a “really good” series between two of the best teams in baseball.
“Yeah, I mean, every year in the playoffs it's never easy. These are the best teams in the game. Best pitching staffs, best offenses. Just a great series. Two really, really good teams going at it and able to pull it out.”
With the NLDS officially in the rearview, the Dodgers now have to sit back and see who they will draw in the NLCS, the Milwaukee Brewers or the San Diego Padres. But no matter how that proverbial ball falls, if bottom-of-the-lineup bats like Andy Pages can get hot, it will make the Dodgers all the more imposing.
