Coach Ben Johnson's Chicago Bears scored one of the most impressive wins of the 2026-27 NFL season in Week 8, beating Mike Macdonald's Seattle Seahawks 34-17 at Lumen Field on a night when Caleb Williams led the offense to a rare feat early. A huge field goal block continued the Bears' dominance as running back D'Andre Swift led the way with three touchdowns on the night.
The Bears possessed the ball just over 34 minutes compared to just over 24 minutes for the Seahawks while outgaining Mike Macdonald's team by over 100 yards, sending a message to the NFL that they are here to stay as Super Bowl contenders, if not the new favorites.
Swift finished with 27 carries for 69 yards and three touchdowns as the Bears' offense flexed its collective muscle against the Seahawks' overmatched defense.
