Daniel Jones hits Tyler Warren for 1-yard TD, Colts lead 7-0

For the second week in a row, the Colts have gone right down the field on their opening drive for a touchdown.

Quarterback Daniel Jones connected with tight end Tyler Warren for a 1-yard touchdown to put Indianapolis up 7-0.

The Colts were 2-of-2 on third down on the possession. Warren took a handoff for a 3-yard gain on third-and-1 near midfield to move the chains. Then in the red zone, Jones connected with Josh Downs for an 11-yard completion on third-and-4. With a roughing the passer penalty, the Colts ended up at Kansas City’s 1-yard line.

A couple of plays later, Jones hit Warren for the tight end’s second TD reception of the young season.

Jonathan Taylor had five carries for 22 yards on the possession. Alec Pierce also had an 11-yard catch, as Jones was 4-of-4 for 33 yards.
