Earlier this year, Netflix confirmed the much-awaited fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury; fans also witnessed the emergence of another feud. While Fury vs. Joshua was previously rumored to take place in New York City's Madison Square Garden, plans later changed, and the fight was moved to Wales.
The change of location allegedly caused a rift between Eddie Hearn and Dana White. The rising feud between the UFC President and Matchroom Boxing's Hearn prompted Misfits Boxing's co-founder Kalle Sauerland to propose a match between the two. While he earlier proposed a $20 million prize pot fight, it has now been scrapped.
Recently, speaking to iFL TV, Sauerland shared that they have put out in writing about a fight between Hearn and White. As per Sauerland, they are close with Eddie on the terms and are at an advanced stage in negotiations, and Dana White currently has it in writing.
“We're close. We're very close with Eddie [Hearn] and Dana's [White] had it in writing,” he said. “Absolutely. I changed it as well from 20 million winner-takes-all. It's just a $10 million straight offer now.” “As I said, Eddie came back and said, ‘We've had a chat, and he's very…' I call it an advanced stage of negotiations,” Sauerland finished.

As of now, neither Hearn nor White has officially commented on it, and it remains to be seen if a match finally takes place between the two.
