While Bears running back D’Andre Swift was added to the injury report on Thursday, he is still set to play Sunday’s game against the Jets.

Swift has no injury designation after he was a full participant in Friday’s practice.

Head coach Ben Johnson told reporters in his pre-practice Friday press conference that Swift’s Thursday absence was a product of it being a short week following Monday’s win over the Eagles.

“I think whenever you get into a short week with running backs, that’s what happens. And so, he’s still feeling the effects of a Monday Night Football game,” Johnson said. “I think we’re going to get him out there today, we’ll work him out and see how he’s doing. But I’m optimistic for Sunday.”

Swift has rushed for 253 yards with three touchdowns and caught eight passes for 68 yards in three games so far this season.

Also on the injury report, defensive back Cam Lewis (hip) is doubtful for the game.

Offensive lineman Braxton Jones (knee) and quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) have been ruled out.

In their 21-day practice windows, defensive back Kyler Gordon (calf), linebacker Noah Sewell (Achilles), and defensive lineman Shemar Turner (knee) have also been ruled out.
